Unfortunately, the economics of the current healthcare delivery system necessitate that we cease operations as UrgiKids, effective 01/02/13. We know that the closure of UrgiKids will leave a void in the community for the urgent care needs of young patients and are therefore pleased to inform you that Family Care Centers Medical Group will start offering Pediatric Urgent Care Services on Weekends and Holidays at its Fountain Valley location, starting January 5, 2013. Family Care Centers has been a mainstay of urgent care and primary care services in Orange County for over 20 years. Their reputation is excellent and the addition of pediatric urgent care is an example of this group’s commitment to caring for our community. Furthermore, the Board- certified pediatricians of UrgiKids will continue to provide care at the new location.
