Well, perhaps it just seems that way. But now, you have a convenient place to seek medical help– a place that specializes in kids. UrgiKids is open in the evenings and weekends when your regular physician's office is closed. You can count on care by UrgiKids, 365 days a year – even on holidays.

We're staffed by dedicated, highly trained physi- cians and nurse practitioners who offer quality pediatric care. All our physicians are Board Certified or Board Eligible in pediatrics. So they know the special needs of kids, both physical and emotional. You can avoid long emergency room waits in an environment that's geared just for kids.

We take care of what can't wait for the morning.

We treat high fevers, asthma and other respiratory problems, sinusitis, ear infections, pneumonia, and any illness or discomfort that can't wait until the next day. We treat kids from birth until age 18 years.

Ready for anything.

If we find that your child needs to be admitted to a hospital, you're in good hands, there, too. Depending on the severity of the illness, we can arrange transport to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. Or, when appropriate, we can arrange transport to the area's only pediatric specialty hospitals: Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) in Orange, or CHOC at Mission in Mission Viejo. These decisions are made in con- junction with your regular physician when possible. CHOC also offers an automated Parent Advice Line (PAL), with over 225 pediatric topics. We accept most insurance.

Our rates are reasonable, and UrgiKids takes most insurance, so if you're covered, you'll only have to pay a co-pay at the time of your child's visit. We also take cash payment. Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

Your doctor knows best.

We'll make sure your doctor is aware of the treatment your child receives at UrgiKids. To ensure your child's good health, we'll provide your regular physician with a timely report that includes diagnosis and treatment information.
